One day last year I got a call from a friendly woman named Peggy Norris. She said she was an interior and furniture designer here locally, and had gotten an amazing opportunity to design for the Italian Design Company Selva. She needed head shots, and I was ready! The more we talked, it became clear to me that it would be a great idea to do a little more than traditional “head shots,” and help others get to know Peggy by “setting the scene.”
I love to tell a story, no matter what type of shoot I do. I want details, angles, personality. I want to see the person or people in an environment! This helps the viewer to have an understanding and appreciation of the subject – particularly for an artist. Peggy was so much fun, and I loved getting to know her! She is stylist and sophisticated, yet approachable and down to earth. I appreciated the time with her, getting to see her amazing space, and just talking. Thank you Peggy for asking me to do these for you!
