My Mom

Hi All!

I am going to be away from my typical blogging of photos for the rest of the week while I help my dad out and take care of my mom here in NC. For those of you who don’t know the story, my mom has had cancer for about 6 years now. It’s been a pretty crazy time for our family and also pretty shocking for someone as healthy as my mom to have this happen. It’s changed our lives, especially in the past year after my mom had full-brain radiation. This gave her “dementia-like” symptoms and she has changed. Her personality though, is still the same and I am so thankful for that!

I would like to say I’m a pretty positive person and I don’t talk about this often, but it is part my life  so I will sometimes share my experience.  The good and bad times are what mold us and make us who we are! Every day I thank God for each moment I am healthy and have happy moments. I take them “in” like I never did before! It’s easy to get caught up in the “world” and become self-centered. When I am here, I’m reminded of what’s really important. 🙂

  • Tara - You have a wonderful attitude about life and as always, my prayers will continue to be there for your mom and the rest of your family!

  • ashley b - Juliet,
this is why pictures are so important. The good times and the hard. Shoot, shoot, shoot. You may not feel like it now, but do it because someday you will want to remember how she looked and acted RIGHT now, how you felt, who was around (etc) and pictures can really help portray that.
I pray for you guys constantly and know God is in control. You have such a beautiful attitude, and are such a wonderful person. Thanks for finding me, I am so grateful you did 😉
    God Bless you today!!!

    ~Ashley

  • Darrell Brock - So true, Juliet. We will keep her in our prayers.
