Lindsey and Matt remind me SO much of me and “my” Mat (Yes, it’s spelled with one “T”). They are such a great balance of serious and fun together as a couple. I think the best thing they both did on their wedding day was go with the flow. Nothing is ever predictable, especially the weather! Charleston is crazy like that….raining one minute, sunny the next.
Well, this day was particularly HUMID–we were all dripping with sweat! …..The rain was in it’s way. In fact, when the boys finally got dressed and ready to go out with me for photos I looked at the sky, looked at my watch and thought, “Um, we have a good 10 minutes before the bottom falls out.” LOL. I was right but we did it!! They were great sports and at the end we were all running back to the main carriage house.
SO, the wedding was moved inside. No one really flinched. We just did it, made it work and it went off without a hitch! Would it have been great if the sun came out? A huge YES of course…..BUT I believe when things like this happen, you realize why you are there. It is a wedding, a ceremony of 2 people starting their lives together. Rain or shine it will happen. 🙂 I am hoping they come back to see me for an afterwedding session regardless!
I loved this couple and really enjoyed spending time with them. Magnolia is one of my favorite spots, so I won’t mind a bit revisiting!
The boys and I decided this lady in the painting was kind of scary…Whitney and Mike from Branch Design, never disappoint. The flowers were beyond beautiful!!The girls had the “modeling” down!Lindsey and this light….holy cow. Thank goodness the rain held off for a few of her alone!I love Matt from Easy Breezy Entertainment! (Yes another Matt!). He is alot of fun, always does an awesome job and jokes around with me. 😀
