Katie & Dan {Charleston SC Wedding}

This day was an unseasonal, no-humidity and 85 degrees. That never happens in July in Charleston!!! Thank God for it though because we were all over town taking photos. Because the ceremony was early, we had alot of extra time to venture out. I love wedding days like this….no rushing, just taking our time!

The Catholic Church this couple was married in is so amazing. The last time I remember feeling this way in a “cathedral” was at Duke Chapel in Durham. It is just grand and beautiful. Your gaze is immediately drawn to the ceiling beams and lights, and the gorgeous stained glass. If you’ve never visited, you should! It’s breathtaking. So much so that during Katie and Dan’s ceremony a tourist ventured into the church and took photos. The church coordinator and I saw him at the same time, and we both just kind of looked at each other with big eyes. haha! A quick and random crash of a wedding. ūüôā

Katie wore part of her mom’s wedding dress as a jacket, and I was in love with it! Check out her lace bolero….beautiful! Dan wore, well, an entire drink on his shirt right before it was time to leave for the church! Luckily he had a back up.

Thank you Katie and Dan SO much for being so much fun and letting me document your day– It was awesome!
