Christy Bridal Portraits {Lowndes Grove Plantation}

Sometimes during portrait or engagement sessions I think we all have a tendency to want to go to as many locations as we can! I have learned though, sticking to a few places, (better yet-ONE), you are more focused, more relaxed – photographer and subject(s) included.
Christy, her mom and I had 2 or 3 places in mind. We got to Lowndes Grove though, and were having way too much fun to leave! It was much more low-key and I think we all agreed it was a great day! Christy is stunning and completely had the 20’s vibe. She was totally up for hats and gloves, and rocked out the red lipstick! The one where she is laughing, made me laugh because I knew we were probably joking around about something!
If you are considering doing a session like this, I highly recommend it! (Even if you wait until after the wedding). It’s your chance to be a model for a day. 🙂

  • Sally Watts - Hello staircase shot!
    Gorgeous.

    She really rocks that style, from the red hat to the feather boa. I love her glamorous originality!

  • Ginny Sadreameli - This was absolutely one of the best days of my life – to watch my daughter bride-to-be and our photographer extraordinaire “play” with props and shots was almost too much for a mother of the bride-to-be to bear. They both captured the 1920’s vintage feeling and it shows! We will always be so grateful for hiring Juliet to do the bridal portraits and wedding. There is no one more talented and committed to photographing brides than Juliet.

  • cindy stansberry - christy, you look amazing!!!

  • Christy - This was SUCH a fun day. I felt like we were just playing dress up and having so much fun together. The pictures turned out amazing! I love the way you used the house as our “set” too. Just lovely! And now that Brett has finally seen them he loves them too!

  • Amber - BEAUTIFUL!!!
