I love photographing portraits and how you can create a “mood” with one person, their attire, personality and backdrop. It’s easy to attain a vintage feel with the old architecture of Charleston and a friend with classic beauty & amazing ability to take perfect direction!

I have a special connection to Ashley and her family because I had the honor of doing hers and her 2 sister’s weddings! Losing both of my parents has made me especially appreciate being a “part” of other people’s families in a small way. God has really blessed me in all the people I’ve gotten to […]

When most people think of Charleston Plantations, they think of the big home, water, mossy trees. Lowndes Grove has it all! It’s tucked away in a residential area, so if you’ve never been there, it’s a nice surprise. I remember the first time I went I thought,”I had no idea this was here!” It’s a […]

People who know me, know portraits are one of my favorite things to shoot! It’s such a great time for the bride to get comfortable in her gown, enjoy wearing a dress she took the time to pick out, and feel like a bride! I always want everyone I work with to have memories of […]

Yup. I’m pretty darn excited to share these portraits of Ginny! It was a great day…perfect light, weather, and I think one of the best parts was she was up for ANYTHING. We were going for a more editorial style portrait session and had a blast! Girls, let me tell you, if you are considering […]
