This summer, my husband Mat and I had the privilege of working with Bridgette and Aaron, and making a trip to Florence, Italy for their wedding! We had an amazing time! Travel can seem fast and furious, so having the experience and then images to look at later makes all the difference.
What started as a possible elopement for this couple, turned into a beautiful intimate ceremony and seated dinner with close friends and family. The ceremony took place at a place called Villa Il Garafolo, the property originally owned by Dante, the “father” of the italian language, and his family after that. What an amazing place to choose for your wedding! There is an original well behind the house, and I’ve included photos of that here! So cool.
I thought Bridgette and Aaron did a great job choosing locations for the rehearsal, wedding and a few days later took us to the countryside of Greve in Chianti for an after-session. That will be for a second post!
The food was amazing and the views were spectacular. It was so exciting to be there and experience such a unique and gorgeous setting.
If you’ve never visited Florence I’m also including images of the city! If you love architecture, you’ll appreciate it. I will start with some views of the city and go into the wedding day! There are alot—Hope you enjoy these! 🙂
