Bonnie & Chad {Cotton Dock Wedding}

Bonnie and Chad are so cute I can barely stand it. They both had the most loving and kind personalities, and were SO excited and happy to get married! When I was going through photos again for this post, I just smiled all the way through, looking at them and how much THEY were smiling. There was obvious joy on this day and it was awesome to experience that.

The story goes that Bonnie had moved here and had started going to a local church to meet people and worship. One night at a “small group” meeting, Chad showed up in house slippers. Apparently his family couldn’t believe that he was an eligible bachelor with slippers on (in public). I love this part because I personally love people who don’t try to impress people!

Anyway, Bonnie must’ve taken notice because the rest is history. All because a pair of slippers. čÖé

So this wedding was second of 3 in a row I had at the cotton dock this summer. It was probably one of the hottest days of the year, but it didn’t deter these two or anyone for that matter, to have a blast! Melanie Murphy did such an amazing job decorating this place. I loved the colors and the centerpieces so much!!

Their friends were there playing music and singing for the ceremony and they were AMAZING. Their reception band Super Deluxe was awesome too. I had never heard them until this wedding!

I chose to post mostly black and white images here, but  there are a few color ones in between!
