Amanda & Jeremy { Bucyrus, Ohio Wedding }

Amanda and Jeremy were originally thinking about getting married here in Charleston, but decided to have the wedding in Amanda’s hometown of Bucyrus, Ohio. I was especially excited when I found out they were going to fly me out to shoot it! I’ve done out of town weddings before, but never flown to one. I was so excited. Well, truth be known, in the past, I’ve hated flying. I was determined to get over this though, because I absolutely LOVE to travel!!! I was all for it and made plans to go.

I had a blast with this couple. The wedding took place in the backyard where Amanda grew up. Driving up to the property, I got more excited when I passed by farmland and open fields! So different from “chucktown.” Don’t get me wrong, I love it here but it was so cool to have different scenery!

It was a beautiful day, even though it rained before and during the ceremony. I loved it….so romantic. We’ve planned to do “after wedding” photos sometime this year, so stay tuned for that.

I love you guys! See you soon.

  • bethany cox - i freaking love the daughter and dad under the umbrella photo. i want to cry with sweetness

  • isabelle - beautiful photos, as usual! i also love those bridesmaid dresses.. so pretty!

  • Juliet Elizabeth Photography - Revisiting memories from 2010! This was my fourth “destination” wedding, but my first time flying by myself. 🙂 It was in Bucyrus, Ohio and spent the weekend with Amanda ‘Hoeft’ Smith and Jeremy P. Smith. The rain didn’t keep us from having an amazing time and I am hoping to see this couple sometime this year!
