Back in the day Bakery

I LOVE this place!! The first time I visited “Back in the day Bakery” was with my hubby Mat, when we were staying on Tybee Island. We drove into Savannah for lunch and I fell in love.

Last week I had a rare day to myself and decided to head to Savannah for a few hours. I finally got to say hello to my facebook friend Cheryl, who owns the shop to tell her I went down just to have lunch there! She is so cute and you can tell she loves her job!I met the sweetest woman named Myda, who had lunch next to me. Turned out she knows Liz Demos, an amazing planner I’m working with on a wedding this year in Charleston! Myda was kind enough to let me take her picture so I’ve included here too!

If you’ve never been, you should check this place out. The food and atmosphere is awesome! I happened to show up after the lunch rush, so I was able to walk around and capture the place.

Gina Calvin - Juliet, you have the BEST job!! You get to meet the coolest people, see the most extraordinary places, and create beauty from it all! I’m sure you are busy next week, but if you have any time at all that you and I could go to a cute little place like this, I would gladly take a day off from tennis to spend some time with you and have a fun day or half a day!
